We will be hosting the 4R Ranch Cork & Cog Classic bike race to celebrate the opening of our mountain bike trails.
4R Ranch Cork & Cog Classic
The trail is currently under construction, and is tentatively scheduled to open to the public mid-July. The trail is closed from October 1 until November 31 for deer hunting season.
The 4R Ranch trail system is located north of Muenster, Texas on 4R Ranch. By virtue of the fact that the 1,132 acre ranch encompasses land that transitions from the shortgrass prairie to the Red River Valley, the ranch is blessed with magnificent vistas, multiple ridge lines, ravines and rocky terrain. These attributes make it an ideal site for mountain biking.
The trail encompasses an excellent mix of fast flat stretches with gentle turns, with many fun gravity dips, ravines, short and long climbs, long fast descents and open prairie sections. This can be a very challenging trail if you choose the “Full Monte” with all the advanced sections in your ride. You won’t be disappointed.
